The thing I like about all these (sort of) formal events are the awesome lights.. well maybe people looking extra pretty and providing me subjects to take photos of would be a nice reason too. I actually enjoyed this more than prom, though I know most people would disagree.
Anyway, my grad ball “date,” Judith played the piano for me when they were cleaning up the venue after the ball. Haha.
Please don’t mind the messy bangs hehe.

Got a really awesome book from Lily for Christmas!
It’s so me (not the awesomeness) - it’s actually telling people to take photos of every part of a place like those pipes under the sink and the faucets and…just stuff. HAHA.
We didn’t have a teacher yesterday at GIFT, so I crashed Photog’s class ouo One of my goals this year :D
Gotta love their topic, still life shoots. :)
Though this day didn’t end well, I found my Painting GIFT project broken in half :( Oh well.

I’ve been stuck with my sister the whole day since we had nothing to do. She was telling me to find more things to take photos of besides the cranes so we ended up taking photos of her bubbles..

I originally planned to make the background colored papers as well, but then it was difficult to find a color that would go as a nice background for the color scheme of the cranes. So, we decided to use… curtains as a background!

Hello again, Tumblr! I’ve been gone for a week because I attended a Journalism Convention.. thing in our school, St. Paul College, Pasig, the Paulink.
I sort of died. I’m a photographer but they made me join cartooning and layouting. Honestly speaking, I didn’t know how to do those. o__o
But anyway, here are the shots I entered for the photojourn/photography contest! :) They’re edited versions already, since I enhanced the colors a bit. It’s my first time to join a contest and I’m so happy these got me a high distinction award. :D Thanks so much to Bianca Catbagan, (a former Paulinian and now a film maker) for choosing my entry. :(
Though, I don’t know.. now that I stare at these, I feel that these lack so much essence and story. But putting those aside, I’m so grateful. :D

Lily helped me learn how to use the SLR and was one of those who always lent me her cam when I didn’t have one yet. Until now, she still continues to teach me stuff and I’m just.. just so grateful to have her as a friend. Without Lily, I won’t be able to survive High School ;w;
